Hi Jeremy--
You can design and optimize spiral inductors (and other embedded passives) for
ICs using IE3D from Mentor Graphics.
The FastEM optimizer allows you to quickly tune design parameters and view the
response.
There is a video on this available at (sorry for the long link):
http://www.mentor.com/electromagnetic-simulation/multimedia/overview/fastem-tuning-on-spiral-743ff102-a8f3-4b4d-aa45-7d205a9ccfb7

If you click on Multimedia, there are more videos on spiral inductor design.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a program to model spiral inductors
that are integrated onto an IC?

Thanks,
Jeremy Scuteri
