HI Pratap,
in ADS I trust the option "Use Package model" when set to "No" (not sure
about the exact wording).
This is what I often do .. not just if I have a better model (e. g.
S-Parameter), but also when I think that the package model is to big to
use lumped RLC i'm creating my own segmented model (based on lumped RLC)
and use this one instead of the single RLC model.

Hi All,
When we use IBIS output buffer model along with a say HFSS extracted
package model (typically a touchstone format s parameter file) how can we
make sure the IBIS RLC package parasitic numbers are disabled and only the
s parameter package model file is used ? (In tools like ADS)
(Because we anyway have a accurate package model extracted and so we don't
want to have duplicated package models, one in ibis RLC package parasitics
, the othe as s parameter package model)
Thanks
Pratap
