The reason for external package models is to get a more complete and
detailed package into the simulations. The lumped RLC model cannot contain
crosstalk for example whereas an external .pkg file can have that.

It would be easier for you to extract the lumped RLC models, then
incorporate them into the [Pin] section of the IBIS models.
