I think in Hspice, the Temperature is not a variable, once specified, it can not be varied during a transient simulation. However, if you have simulator support Verilog-AMS, you can specified temperature as a variable and even simulate self-heating/thermal run-away effect. I have done it in the past. But I am not sure whether current Hspice version support this. best, Yafei ----- Original Message ---- From: timoceous <timoceous@xxxxxxxxx> To: si <si-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, July 25, 2006 6:22:35 PM Subject: [SI-LIST] Hspice temperature as a variable Hi all, I would like to ask some of the Hspice experts in this form a question. I would like to vary the temperature during the transient simulation. Does anyone know how to do so? For instance, I would like to vary the temperature linearly or other wise as the time goes from 0nS to 200nS. How do I do so? Your help on this matter is greatly appriciated.
