My thinking is : The Power Budget for the IC for all rails might be calculated
possibly when the IC is fully loaded
i.e running all its applications/interfaces.

Thanks,
Ravindra.

Zhangkun,
Not sure if you are asking about this. It is quite straightforward, just
measure the current drawn from different power supply (3.3, 1.2, 1.8 etc) of
the IC under normal operation.

Wei

Dear all

In a product development, how to get the power consuming of IC? This
information is very important for VRM selection, heatsink design, and so on.

By the way, how does the IC vendor get the power consuming of IC?

Best Regards

Zhangkun
