How about a resistor with a parameterized value.
Define v_sweep to vary from 1 to 1000 volts. When it equals
0 volts then r_variable will be 0 ohms. When v_sweep
equals 1000 volts r_variable will equal 1000 ohms.

Make v_sweep a sawtooth (or a sawtooth, or a PWL waveform,
or whatever you need) and adjust the period so that it ramps from
min to max in 1 ns. .

  r_variable terminal_1 terminal_2 r = v_sweep

The details are left to the interested.......... (customize as desired)
