All, We have had several requests for a public version of the high speed design course we teach at UC Berkeley and privately. In response to this, we have scheduled a class for May 14 & 15, 2007 in Austin, Texas. Here are the particulars: Date: May 14-15, 2007 Location: Embassy Suites Austin North Class: Our revamped two-day High Speed PCB and System Design Class. Basic Class Description: This two-day training session on the design of high-speed PCBs and their associated systems is the premier course offered by Speeding Edge and has been taught to more than 5000 engineering professionals worldwide. Conducted by Speeding Edge owner and president, Lee Ritchey, this very practical course is thorough and comprehensive. It covers all the physics involved in high-speed design, explaining the science behind each one of the principles, their role in high-speed systems and how to properly manage the design process to account for them. This course will give the engineering professional the fundamental knowledge necessary to make the most efficient design rule set, organize the design process to efficiently execute the design, select the appropriate PCB materials and choose the toolsets that will best suit the design process. This course is especially relevant to IC designers as device speeds outstrip the traditional packages and application notes. What is provided: *Two full days of instruction *3-ring binder containing copies of all presentation slides (@300 pages) used in class *A copy of our book, "Right The First Time, A Practical Handbook on High Speed PCB and System Design Volume 1" (this is the text book for the course) *Continental breakfast, full lunch, mid-morning and afternoon refreshments For more a more detailed descriptiton and to register log onto our web site: www.speedingedge.com Lee Ritchey Speeding Edge P.O.
