Less than the voltage of an ordinary C or D size battery (yes I know, it's a cell, not a battery), but somehow it's consuming upwards of 100 watts or more. How much current does it need? Yup, can be noisy, if you don't take precautions. Who in his right mind would use a modern microprocessor without lots of attention to supply bypassing and where it's needed?
