The multimedia approach takes a long time to download and listen to, and needs a lot of disk space. Since the mp3 files are not searchable, they are useless as references. Simple text or html files are much more valuable since they can be quickly searched with a simple grep. They also can be annotated and updated with additional information and notes, which is impossible with multimedia. Hopefully, you use a script while making the podcast - that might be useful to post as a transcript. Thanks!
