Another example of bandwidth trade-off between jitter accumulation vs. =
jitter transfer.

So, the question one more time. Why do people prefer jitter transfer =
over jitter accumulation ? Is it because less people are aware of the =
issue ?

Hi Siddesh,

The Cypress book is a good overview of the various aspects of =
clock-circuit
designs. I particularly like Figures 5.4 and 5.5, providing measured =
jitter
data as a function of supply-rail noise frequency and magnitude. And I =
also
agree with the text going with the figures that this kind of data is=20
very rare on
data sheets.
