There is a book that should help. It is called "freshman physics". One will find there how fields (not currents) are exchanged between two wires or transmission lines, and also between the two sides of a capacitor. Also how a capacitor stores and releases energy in a circuit/system. Once one understands that, one can proceed to a book such as Bogatin's "Signal Integrity - Simplified". - Lynne "IBIS training when you need it, where you need it."
