Insert a VAR eqn in your design and code your equation there. Then reference that variable you defined a resistor element to define the components resistance. Define this in the Var eqn: Rdep= 0.03 +(freq/10000)+(0.15/freq) Then in a resistor component: R = Rdep Caveat emptor: I haven't tried this in a live simulation, may need debugging with respect to frequency scaling and or syntax..... -Ray Xilinx Inc. -----Original Message----- From: si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Yassin, Adnan Sent: Friday, July 11, 2014 4:14 PM To: si-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Cc: Yassin, Adnan Subject: [SI-LIST] Frequency dependent in ADS Hello, Is it possible to model the following frequency dependent resistor in ADS (AC simulations)? How? R = 0.03 + [freq(MHz)/10,000] + [0.15/freq(MHz)] Thanks, -Adnan ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List forum is accessible at: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu This email and any attachments are intended for the sole use of the named recipient(s) and contain(s) confidential information that may be proprietary, privileged or copyrighted under applicable law.
