Dear all SI gurus,

I have several questions regarding to Fiber Channel signal simulation.

Currently I am trying to use XTK to simulate 2.4Gb/s Fiber Channel signals.

Is XTK good enough for 2.4Gb/s simulation? or I shall use Hspice.
Are there special concerns I need to be aware to get accurate simulation
result?
Is IBIS model good enough in quality for simulation?
Will Power/Ground noise become major concerns?
What shall I take care the most in order to get good margin in design?
Do the connectors need to do impedance compensation?

Your comments are highly appreciated.

Best Regards,
