Dear experts,
I ran an HFSS simulation on a test package. This is "old" HFSS with TAU
mesh not the "new" PHI mesh. The simulation is from 0.1GHz to 30 GHz. Only
two traces are involved and they are both striplines. What I found was the
FEXT decreases as the frequency increases. This is contradictory to
conventional belief. The insertion loss and return loss both look
reasonable. Has anyone encountered such behavior? Any explanation or
suggestion for debugging is greatly appreciated.
Thanks and best regards,
Di
