HI,
I have a basic doubt regarding terminologies in ethernet. When we say 1
Gbps, does it mean 1000 Mbps or 1024 Mbps? I have an IXIA system that is
pumping data at 1000 Mbps. My DUT claims to support upto 1 Gbps. Does
this mean that i am not excercising my chip at full bandwidth.
