Chris,
    The first postings on this were in May 2001!  The email subjects were:
   MECL System Design Handbook
    which latter got changed to
   Bends in PCB Traces (renamed from  MECL System Design Handbook)

At the time Scott McMorrow and  Gus Panella put out an interim report 
entitled

Impedance Discontinuties of Right Angle Bends  of which I still have a pdf

Did you ever get to finish it guys?
