[SI-LIST] Current carrying capacity of power planes

I have seen several threads about current capacity of traces and vias,
but have not seen anything on planes.
Does anyone have a good formula or chart for determining the current
capacity of an internal power plane of a board?
When do I need to go to multiple planes or thicker copper for a
particular board size?
