Mutual coupling between lines that switch simultaneously can either 
reinforce, or suppress edges depending on their relative polarities.  
Normally we think in terms of timing pull-in or push-out as the result 
we are most concerned with.

If your crosstalk is so severe that it is going to cause protection 
diodes to conduct, then you're going to be suffering other serious problems.
