Daniel - Some work has been done on the backplane -riser card connectors influence on system radiation (http://scholarsmine.mst.edu/post_prints/00990723_09007dcc8030ca4b.html). But I have not seen a tool that starts with far field results and gets to the sources. Good luck - jn -----Original Message----- From: si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Daniel Lai Sent: Friday, August 05, 2011 4:23 AM To: si-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [SI-LIST] Correlating the system Emission Sources Hi all, Say that my system contains the chassis, the main board and riser cards. During doing system far-field radiation analysis, is there any manner that could correlate the emission sources efficiently and accurately? Especially when the riser cards are installed vertically through connectors. I will be really appreciated if you could kindly show me any tool application note or text book to dig-in. Thank you for your input in advance.
