[SI-LIST] Re: Connector simulation model

The URL works, but the end of it appears to have wrapped to the next line -
just copy/paste the whole thing into your browser. I've retried it - it
works.

Tim,

Your web site directions don't seem to work. Could you correct them please?

Thank you,

Ken

Try using this. This will give you an example of a connector equivalent
that you can simulate in an IBIS/Spice environment. It is from the AMP
website. This particular single line model is for one of their compact PCI
connectors, however, the concept will be the same. Just get the connector
vendor to provide you the parasitics...

Subject: [SI-LIST] Connector simulation model

Hello experts,
Could anybody suggest me a way to
simulate or write models for a connector in XTK
.Normally how do you define or write simulation models
for Connectors?
I am searching for the simulation model for the
following connector.

"IL-312 series 0.5 mm contact spacing ,PCB to PCB
SMT connector. from JAE
( http://www.jae.co.jp/g-top/index.html
<http://www.jae.co.jp/g-top/index.html> ) " The
connector data sheets does not provide any electrical
equivalent information for this connector.
If there is any IBIS model or SPICE model
available for any type connector, it would be useful
for me.

thanks and regards,
Sivakumar.S
