Dear all, I have a very general question, generally the connectors that we use such as SMA, Rosenberger etc will experience wear and tear as we use it. Typically its not an issue until we see that the deterioration starts to impact the measurements significantly which is becoming a concern as we move into higher speeds. Then we start to debug. My question is besides doing a check (TDR etc) on the connectors every time before we take a measurement, what is the best way to avoid this situation ? What is standard practice in the industry used to address this issue. Thanks in advance. ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List forum is accessible at: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
