 CheckList Manager

(Initial Beta Release)

This program is a productivity tool design to make managing checklists,
their import, signoff, and proofing easier than conventual office
approaches. The program is self contained and comes with an installation
program for Microsoft operating platforms WIN XP and WIN2000. (SEE HELP
ON INSTALL BELOW)

Applying your company's tribal knowledge can be better leveraged by
creating checklist that work with a CheckList Manager. A small example
checklist is included with the software Install

Please read the PDF for more information (available online at address
below)

SEE http://www.bychoice.com/ecad.htm#checklistManager

The software install is very straight forward. See instructions below

                                            ***

HELP ON INSTALL

The Installation is a self extracting executable. After downloading the
EXE.
Run it allowing the software to extract the key files to your temp
directory.
You will run the SETUP program in the temp directory when the have been
self extracted.
 See Below:

 SINGLE_USERS_INSTALL

It's always a good idea to close all programs before any install. This
is
especially true if you have any open unsaved documents.

Using Explorer, run the setup program
HINT: Activate Explorer by holding down the Windows key and then
 pressing the E key

You should close all other open programs and save any open documents

Single users with no special requirements should just allow SETUP to
 follows its standard defaults.

CheckList Manager's SETUP will install CheckList Manager in c:\Program
Files\CheckListManager.
You may, however, specify any directory name on any drive. If that
directory does not pre- exist, SETUP will create one. CheckListManager
SETUP
will place all files required to make CheckList Manager run in this
directory, except
and specific DLLs or System files required. System files will installed
in
their required folders under the systems operating directories.

 PRE-EXISTING DRIVERS

CheckList Manager comes with various operating system interface files
that help the
program talk to other programs. Newer versions of these may be already
loaded on your computer having been installed from some other source.
When the setup program runs, it will tell you that a newer version of
the
particular software(driver)has been found or that one or more of these
files
are write-protected. Don't worry, this is normal. You then can be asked
to
cancel or skip this operation. You may be asked for permission to
over-write these files. The proper response is to SKIP these files.

If CheckList Manager SETUP does not finish completely due to an error,
all
changes and any files that may have been copied are removed, any
 directories newly created are removed.
