Hi All
I am planning to use surge protection device between ethernet magnetics and
RJ45 for gigabit.

1. What is the impact of the capacitance presented by the surge protection
device?
2. In other words what can be the maximum capacitance in the above
condition?
3. The capacitance varies based on line voltage, from 30pF to 25pF for line
swings between 0 - 2V respectively. Does this matter?

With Regards
Mani
