I find that professional newsgroups such as the si-list are different than other types of newsgroups. I would respect the respondent by continuing the discussion in kind. If they responded off-line, then I'd continue the discussion off-line. If they responded on-line, then I'd continue the discussion on-line. If a question was raised during an off-line discussion that couldn't be answered, then I'd simply post it as a generic question without reference to the person and/or any previous off-line discussion with that person. - Doug McKean ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
