Hi,
In an Allegro layout for a dense high-speed design, there may be
30 coupled segments or more for a given victim signal, depending
on the Geometry Window you use. Displaying this in SigXplorer would
basically be a mess. So detailed post-layout xtalk simulation is done
at the board level with SPECCTRAQuest, not extracted into SigXp.
You can click on the Probe icon to select some signals for analysis.
You do have the ability to extract coupled diff pairs into SigXp
from layout, and also the ability to build any coupled topology
interactively in SigXp for what-if analysis. Hope this helps.

I am now using SpecctraQuest to do post-layout simulation. I got in =3D
trouble while doing crosstalk simulation. In SigXpert topology =3D
environment, I cant extract crosstalk group(including victim nets and =
=3D
aggressor nets). So when I selected crosstalk radio listed in =3D
"Measurement tab" and pushed "Signal Simulate" button, it prompted that
=3D "Simulation aborted. A crosstalk simulation cannot be run without at =
=3D
least one coupled-trace part in the topology." I had walked through the
=3D whole SpecctraQuest's reference book, but could not find out any
methods =3D to extract all the suspicious nets into topology
window.(eg.All the =3D time,only one net path from drive to receiver
appears.)One point needed =3D to mention, I had set Analyze->SI/EMI =3D
Sim->Preference->InterconnectModels Tab->Crosstalk in pretty values.
Any body here can point out the solution for me?
All advices are welcome.
