how I understand your question, I think you want to know the relationship 
between peak-to-peak and rms Jitter. The difference is a factor related to the 
BER.

For details google this Maxim Application Note HFAN-4.0.2 (Rev. 0, 12/00).

Pp jitter is from the data only
1e-12 jitter is a computation using the jitter model.
