In case of no test fixture OR No TRL option, I think LRM is better than only 
SOLT.

both are as accurate as the standards that are used. If you extend the port on 
an test fixture, SOLT mostly is less accurate than TRL, because it is very hard 
to get the Termination standard right (parasitics and frequency dependence of 
the devices and launches). TRL is very accurate when the fixture and standards 
are well designed.

Hi, allIs it necessary to use SOLT calibration for port extension? In theory, 
TRL calibration should work, too. But we got far different value with these two 
different calibration method.
