I forgot to mention that the hysterisis inputs are used to prevent from
multiple switching in case of noisy signals near the threshold.

Hi Bala,
it depends on the context, but most often this refers to an input with
different voltage thresholds for switching between Low and High .
Very often you will have a high level for switching from Low to High, and a
lower threshold for switching from High to Low.
The Term "Hysteresis" is taken from permanent Magnetics where you also have two
different curves for magnetizing and demagnetizing.
