This is a good test article. Removes the speculation as do several others published on the same topic as well as 6 or 7 test PCBs I have had build. Anyone who has doubts can include a few simple test structures in a prototype PCB and take the guess work out of it for themselves. Nothing like a few measurements to remove uncertainty. > [Original Message] > From: Kishore Bachu <kbachu@xxxxxxx> > To: <bhodia1@xxxxxxxxx> > Cc: <si-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Date: 7/24/2006 11:00:17 PM > Subject: [SI-LIST] Re: 90 degree turn in PCB tracks > > Classification: UNCLASSIFIED > > Hi Dhaval, > > You can refer to the following article published on ultracad. > www.ultracad.com/articles/90deg.pdf > > Regards, > Kishore. > > -----Original Message----- > From: si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] > On Behalf Of Dhaval Bhodia > Sent: Tuesday, July 25, 2006 10:26 AM > To: si-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [SI-LIST] 90 degree turn in PCB tracks > > Dear Experts > I want to know that why PCB tracks can not have 90 degree bend ? > second why 45 degree bend is most preferable ? anybody has made any > analysis on bending of PCB tracks ? what are the technical issues will > come if some one makes 90 degree bend in PCB ?
