Well said Randy and Amy,

My 9 year old son I feel the same way about however my point was that THEY
have no problem with letting their growling cocker off leash in their yard
often while my child plays near by as well as many other children. THEY only
seem to express concern when someone else's dog is controlled and on leash.
Hence the "Wouldn't you just know it" It was just a ridicules head shaker
to share tonight.

Take Care
Beth

I'm with you Randy i have two small children 7 & 3 years old..........they
are not allowed to go up to anyones dogs or pet strange dogs..........i
don't care how sweet they say they are. They have all they need to pet
right here. Since they are level with the dogs and face to face it is just
not worth taking the chance sweet or not, i'm not having my kids face taken
off by some so called sweetheart!!
Sometimes a dog catches that eye contact and yikes!!

Nope, i have my own sweethearts that live for the love of my children, so i
don't think they ever need to be petting on others dogs. Just My Opinion
and maybe not a popular one but after all i am responsible for my own little
ones.
