[ SHOWGSD-L ] wobbly motion

I think the term wobbly refers to the looseness in the hock due to  
inappropriate length (too long) and bad ligamentation,  Could this be one  of 
the 
many definitions of "dirty going away"?
 
Watch closely and you will notice this is not a problem with those dogs  
with strong hindquarters, good fold of stifold, small hocks and good  
ligamentation.  They tend to have a light spring in their movement that  
propels 
them slightly up and then forward, with no wasted  motion. 
 
If present, the woobly-ing is more noticeable when you watch a dog at a  
walk and of course as the dog speeds up in movement it tends to  disappear.   
 
Many handlers have learned that by holding a dog up, the downward pressure  
the animal has to put helps them use the rear better, but when you watch 
these  dogs moving on a lose lead, or walking, it is a different story.
 
Does anyone look for singletracking?
