I go to All-Breed shows quite a bit more than to specialties, one reason being
that they are not as far for me to drive to, another, you have, as several
mentioned already, several shows in one place. I also enjoy watching other
breeds and learning more about them. I believe it is good to see what other
breed clubs are doing as well, and this is one way to do that. Our club is
doing a supported entry in the fall, and last year, our first year to do that,
we had a major. Having all the other shows at the same place is a magnet for
most exhibitors. In addition, many people use trailers and motor homes and can
be right at the site instead of having to go to a hotel that they have to drive
to. Many good parties go on at these as well.
I, for one, have made many friends doing it this way.
