When I had my "accidental" litter, I clipped off the dogs dewclaws. Our of 14
snips, one little yelp. If they would have looked more "rottie" than GSD
(they WERE gorgeous), I would have done their tails, too. Next they'll say
that GSD owners can not tape their pups ears. (After all, some DO get
infected!) Had animals all my life and always did the normal Vet Visits
(breeding, sick
or worrisome symptoms, OFA, etc.) of course. A LOT of my $$ has gone to
Vets. But other than that, the healthy dogs rarely see a vet. Won't do
Rabies
shots after the 3rd one anymore, did my own pup shots and worming. I think
I was a responsible breeder, and if I bred again, I wouldn't change anything.
When a law is passed, one size fits all, freedom suffers.
