Why do most GSD breeders AI? Is it because our dogs can't breed naturally
(ie: Bulldogs) or, is it for the safety of the dogs and the availability of
stud dogs in the area. I was talking to another Shepherd breeder who
believes that the extreme angulation is not allowing for natural breeding.
She was quit concerned!

I agree with Molly and others, hearing from puppy buyers that my dogs
are still doing well at 11 and 12 years of age is a great thing, in fact I
have 3 puppy people that have been waiting over a year to get another
Sunflower pup. This as a breeder is very sweet.
It is sad that I was unable to continue my line, after three failed AIâ?Ts
to the last male of my breeding (a senior who had never been used at stud)
the hunt now is on to find that very rare breeder who will allow my novice
female to be bred naturaly on her next season (late September), I know it
will be difficult to find as most GSD breeders AI now, or at least that is
what I am being told.
Oh I also am hopeful I can find this breeder close to the Edmonton Alberta
area as shipping from Canada to the US seems to be getting much harder.
