So, do two cases of bad sportsmanship make a "right"....
Besides, as Sherry pointed out, there's no need (or sure as heck shouldn't
be) to fly or drive a dog all over the country to get <a good dog> done.
There were majors in New England last weekend, majors in NJ and the weekend
before, 4 days of majors in MD, where BTW, Norma's handler had a good weekend.
All those majors were obviously a heck of a lot closer to NY than GA.
Now, as Evan points out, anybody can do what they want with their dog, BUT,
when a person then makes it very public and advertises just how badly THEY
feel put upon AFTER breaking a major and roundly criticizes other competitors
in
the process, for goodness sakes, expect a little reaction.
I don't know too many people who aren't hoping to win by the time they get
to Am. Bred, so at any given show you probably have 8-10 folks there seriously
looking to win. There's gracious winning, gracious loosing and just plain
GOOD SPORTMANSIP. Criticizing everything from the club, the other
competitors, their dogs, the superintendents and the judges doesn't fit IMO
with that
picture. If you're that darned miserable, please, please keep it to yourself.
AND if you CAN'T keep it to yourself, EXPECT a little reaction. JMHO
