Call me crazy but I understand why...they are too busy trying to hold on  for 
dear life in this economy...yes, we love our pets, but people are having a  
hard time making ends meet and feeding their children...(no, I don't have any), 
 we spent HOW MUCH and added it to the deficit over the last month???   The 
Dow closed WHERE today????  Do you even want to open your 401K  statements??? 
5,000,000 on unemployment?  Bebe isn't going to sit still for  Iran having a 
nuke...(not that I blame him)...unrest in the middle east due to  low oil 
prices, they can't feed their population....
 
Call me crazy but fighting this other stuff is wwwaaaayyyyyy on the  back 
burner. I liken it to worrying that the band wasn't playing loud  enough on the 
Titanic...

And if the freed up money could go to, say, a lobbyist, to  represent our 
interests??? Even talk to a couple other national clubs and  have them chip 
in and have 3 lobbyists? One for DC (yep, we'll need one  soon!) and a 
lobbyist firm that has reputable people on the ground in the  states?

Wow, what an idea... proactive and thinking  ahead!!
