why assume it isn't signed because it "offends"? i have been a GSDCA
member for almost 30 years BUT i had a lapse a few years back and had to
reapply
and rejoin. when i did rejoin, i asked for the BC so i could sign it and
was told that, since it was being reworded and, generally, revamped, to wait
until the new one was available and sign it. i have asked again since that
time and have been told the same thing. so, for all intents and purposes, i
am NOT a signer of the BC but it's certainly not due to lack of trying. i
doubt i am the only one in this weird little boat.
christine's argument is 100% valid. whether or not i would choose to
advertise in the GSDCA website or whether or not i would be referred potential
puppy/adult buyers by the GSDCA should NOT be dependent upon my signature on
a code of ethics that has not been made available to me to sign.
