All that talk about vodka in the freezer reminded me of an entertaining
trick...
Get a quart of milk in a cardboard (rectangular) carton. Open the top
completely so that you have a square. Loose the milk. Rinse the carton. Put
a
bottle of vodka in the carton. Place some herbs, ferns, dried fruit,
cranberries,lemon slices (use your imagination, whatever fits your theme or
the vodka
flavor), standing up in the space between the cardboard and the vodka then
carefully fill with water. Freeze.
When your guests arrive, remove from freezer, tear off the paper, tie a
decorative napkin at the base to facilitate pouring, place on a pretty tray and
you have the makings of a good party:))))
