I was told about an apology long before the letter to the editor appeared in
print- the apology was requested due to Procedural errors that occurred during
the meetings that pertain to this member ship-
Many mistakes took place- why shouldn't an apology be issued
I would guess the letter to the editor only made things worse but to the best
of my information it did not cause the request for the apology
