These are both non-profit organizations that donate private ground and air
transport
for dogs in need:

This is a great organization of private pilots and volunteers who provide a
clearinghouse wherein people trying to provide transportation for special needs
animals (rescue, service dogs, veterinary special needs) can arrange
flights in areas served. Areas and pilots are being expanded, however there
are many states served already. A helpful resource.
Then there is: http://www.skyark.org (http://www.skyark.org), one of the oldest
(to my knowledge) transport systems for animals in need.
I thought this info might be helpful for those of you who are deeply
into
rescue...check out the websites....
