How many members actually attend the meetings? I saw lots of members at
the GSDCA Nationals but only a handful of people attending the Thursday
night meeting. Now was that not an important meeting with the Election
of who won being decided?
Now as far as the Purina Farm goes where else are you going to go with all
the needed facility it offers or eating places or motels-hotels? This set up
for
dogs as no other is in this country. Handlers travel to shows with their
clients
dogs wherever they feel it is profitable. So owners just need to show up
and flying they can do. Is it not cheaper since credit cards, airlines offer
flying mile credits? I still do not see the issue with the flooring either if
the
GSD is of the Breed Standard. I have seen dogs and people take serious falls
on grass or turf.
As far as losing member this is happening more with age than where the National
meetings or Show is. Lets face it getting older creates the problem not where
the
National is.
I still have never seen a Poll or Voting on rotation can someone post or send
it privately to me. Were there only a few votes on this and not sent to all
members?
Bottom line is if the club loses money even in one year it is a bad situation.
Horse Shows are very profitable and they keep them at the same place year after
year.
Now how would people like to haul a horse from Maine to OK-AZ it is done
every year with Horse Trailers. Again Horse Trainers go where they can make
money
regardless of where it is.
