I swore I WOULD NEVER debark a dog...training was the best thing! Then PAX came into my life. PAX was born barking, even while wet she was pitching a fit!. That didn't change, except for the worse. I tried a bark collar, worked for a little while, but she'd take the punishment. So after awhile I tried two bark collars and the B.O.B. could still make more noise than all the rest of the dogs. A friend finally convinced me to debark her. So off we go, surgery done and she was home that evening....barking, barking, barking, BUT there was no noise!!!! So blessedly quiet, unfortunately as time has passed she can still make plenty of noise, but at least it's muffled. Believe me for her it was the best thing I could have done, because I was inches away form strangling her.
