Nobody will ever know. That's the "beauty" of the operation. Once
they're shipped from there to some pet shop somewhere, who cares?
I went upstairs a few minutes ago, to check on my 5 day old
litter...I can't imagine them in a huge kennel, and the idea of them
being in a "facility" turns my stomach.
People all over the country are having trouble selling beautiful,
carefully bred puppies, in all breeds...and the AKC complains that there
aren't enough puppies to go around. Obviously, that's true, because
Hunte, among others, imports puppies wrapped in shrink wrap from South
America to sell in pet shops (and yes, the boxes containing puppies
coming into Miami International Airport from South America are really
wrapped in shrink wrap)...I guess when you're mass producing and/or mass
retailing, all the effort and thought and pain that "real" breeders put
into puppies is a waste of time...after all, why spend the time and
effort when you can treat the puppies like any other product...I wonder
if anyone screens buyers at all? I'll bet not...just hand over the
money and take it home...............
I can't talk about this anymore...we've strayed from the subject a
way piece.
