I don't know about now but it used to be that you were not allowed to train your dog at all breed shows. Some would try it discreetly but I did see a rep. go up to one person and remind them that there was to be no training on the grounds. Also, in a lot of large indoor shows, dogs are not allowed unless they are entered. It's just too crowded. So you couldn't just take a dog there and train.
