Congrats to my budding new handler, Layah. She's from my third grade class.
Friday, and Sat.,1/2, 1/3 she handled Chopper at Columbiana Kennel Club and
Rubber City Kennel. Chopper has his first two points!!! Now I'm moving out
of the way and letting the pros take over. Chopper will appear in the ring
again soon, followed by a handler at the lead, more info to follow. In the
meantime, Layah and I will move on to our newest project, and maybe she'll be
ready to take Chase into the obedience ring at Nationals.
I'd like to get Layah into the juniors competition, but I don't have a dog that
she can co-own, and her parents aren't prepared to keep a gsd fulltime in the
house. So I'm trying to ocupy her with other venues until Chopper returns, and
she can start him with Rally.
