Well, Randy, it's obvious that you aren't in my part of the country, where
Grand Victors and multiple Selects ARE shown at all breed shows...and not
always to specialist judges, either. This is also not new for us...many
many years ago we had that quality being shown at our all breeds, altho back
then, it was, I admit, to judges who also judged specialties.....not like
today, when people here built majors to show to any old Tom Dick and
Harry.........a few of these "major builders" usually try to avoid
specialists unless they are pretty assured of a win...but they show the same
dogs in both venues. Not all our specialists judge dogs, either, if you
want to be perfectly honest about it.
