[ SHOWGSD-L ] the contrast between old and young

As I sit at my computer this morning I'm privileged to have the company of =
the oldest and youngest members of my "pack". My 12 year old " Buddy" is =
a the soul of patience and tolerance as the young puppy tries everything =
in his power to entice Buddy to get up and play. Sleep, not play, is =
Buddy's preferred use of his time at this stage of his life, and play, not =
sleep, is first on the puppy's agenda for the morning. Yet, they are =
sweet with and respectful of one another. What wonderful creatures these =
dogs of our are...
