[ SHOWGSD-L ] the National VIDEO

I don't know about you but being able to watch the National on my TV in my 
house sitting in my recliner five yards from MY bathroom and 7 yards from my 
kitchen.... Well let me tell you it was a great experience. Was it frustrating 
at times? Yes. Can we perhaps improve this program for next year? why not! 
 And guess what. In a few weeks I can go back and watch it again and I can even 
show some of it to my 6th graders. Being able to have the video puts us AT THE 
NATIONAL. So even with all the problems and the cost you can not convence me 
that this is not a great service for folks who can not attend the National. I 
was supposed to be at the National, had my hotel, airline tickets, seat tickets 
at 50 bucks each but about 3 weeks before the National I was told that my 
invitation be to the third announcer ( I got the invite in June) was being 
revoked.At first I was pissed and I called a trusted female board member who 
had no information to give me, so since I knew I would be coming home from 
Hawaii 3 days before the National I decided to stay home and rest up for school 
(my two week school break ends tomorrow). now I have been told the problem that 
kept me from helping Bob and Evan at table has been eliminated and next year I 
will once again be invited to either help Bob and Evan or and help Lana Lee at 
the streaming Video.   Either way I'm blessed.  Off to church.  Thanks Lanalee
