In case no one's realized it, the implementation of this rule covers a
period of 8 months during which a judge may not employ any handler who has
shown a dog to him -- and I believe firmly that the rule will be stretched
to include the assistants to the handlers, too.......... 8 months is the
best part of a year................
While the rule wasn't intended to "hit" the Shepherd fancy, it surely is
going to have a major impact on us....who's going to be able to judge? Not
anyone who still exhibits, for sure!
