I guess it depends on where it "starts". I usually use one of those digital
thermometers with the "cover",and I've noticed (when I've REALLY annoyed my
girls and took their temp a second time with a normal thermometer) that there
is
always about a 1 degree difference in the two temps.
I thought that there was about a two degree difference from her starting
temp, maybe I misread that. I do consider two degrees to be significant enough
to
take notice. And also, as you said, it's important to know what her "normal"
temp is, which is why I will often take their temps for a few days two weeks
before the due date, to get a "norm" to compare to. Also, as you said, it's
important to try to take the temps at the same times each day in order to
compare them, and I keep a chart also.
These poor dogs, the THINGS they put up with from us!
